KINGS OF ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires IV, circa 63/2-54/3 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 14.35 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Hedyphon, SE 255 = 58/7 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V to left, wearing long beard and torque; to right, star above anchor symbol; behind, countermark: Nike standing left within rectangular incuse, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. Rev. BACIΛEΩC - KAMNACKIP[OY] - TOY EΓ BACIΛEΩC - KAMNACKI[POY] Diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires IV to left; below chin, monogram; in exergue, ENΣ (?). Van’t Haaff Type 8.2. Brushed and with a large flan fault, otherwise, good very fine.
